Coworking space

Collaborative Hub & Coworking Lounge

Interior design concept for a large-scale corporate space

Type: Workplace / Coworking
Location: Switzerland
Completion: 2024

This project involved the transformation of the company’s largest interior space—spanning several hundred square meters—into a central social and collaborative hub for a Swiss-based company operating in a highly specialized niche market with over 100 employees.

The concept was designed as the heart of the workplace: a space where employees can connect, relax, collaborate, and recharge. At the core of the room sits a fully tailor-made bar, over 8 meters long and weighing more than 800 kg, custom-designed to reflect the client’s identity and functional needs. Its sculptural form, dark finishes, and integrated lighting make it a strong architectural anchor within the space.

A large artificial plant wall, developed with bespoke patterns and layered greenery, introduces depth, softness, and a biophilic atmosphere, contrasting with the clean architectural envelope. Additional freestanding trees and planters were strategically placed to add volume, zoning, and visual rhythm across the open layout.

The ceiling design combines exposed wooden beams with linear lighting elements, carefully aligned to illuminate the entire space while reinforcing its horizontal proportions. This lighting strategy works in harmony with the balustrade and furniture layout to create a warm, evenly lit environment.

The interior is intentionally playful and informal, mixing lounge seating, high tables, communal dining areas, and brainstorming zones. Several furniture elements—some accommodating up to 10–15 people—were custom-made to support flexible use and group interaction. The color palette blends warm terracotta, soft peach, muted blues, mustard tones, and natural wood, creating an inviting, contemporary atmosphere that avoids a rigid corporate feel.

The space opens directly onto a large terrace, which was also fully conceptualized as an extension of the interior, including a dedicated grill area and outdoor seating—further strengthening the idea of the hub as a shared social center.

The result is a vibrant, multifunctional environment that supports collaboration, creativity, and well-being, while expressing the company’s culture through thoughtful design.
